Engaging Industry through the Global Partnership on Marine Litter to deliver SDG14

This side event will highlight the need for accelerated action and demonstrate examples of industry engagement through transformative pathways in achieving SDG 14, particularly SDG 14.1. As marine litter is relevant to a wide range of industrial sectors in the plastics value chain (manufacturing, packaging, collecting), this side event will convene a wide range of industrial sectors and actors and touch on many SDGs.
