The side event will focus on the situation of the indigenous community who have been least served since decades. They are the nature savior and practitioners of the traditional-cultures. Most of them are small-land holders and growers who practice eco-friendly farming which is sustainable in nature. But the increased commercialization has disturbed their practices, which increased inequality and other challenges as well. Besides, the current Covid situations have also impacted the livelihood and economy of these indigenous people badly. This event will highlight the recommendations for the development and rehabilitation of this community and contributing in achieving SDGs with acceleration.
