Making circularity work for a just transition to climate neutrality

The purpose of this year's HLPF is to operationalise the decade of action and accelerate the shift towards transformative development pathways. One of the "thematic clusters" at the HLPF this year is called "Protecting the planet and building resilience". At this year's HLPF, Slovenia will be presenting the second Voluntary National Review on progress in SDG implementation. Policies and initiatives on circular economy and climate action – and connectedness between the two topics – will be in the spotlight, as Slovenia has decided to focus their strategic economic development on circular, regenerative and low-carbon economy.
