The side-event aims to enable in-depth discussion around equitable and sustainable implementation of interventions for accelerated and transformative approaches to realise human well-being and capabilities, with a focus on health and improving sexual and reproductive health services in countries in Asia Pacific that is within the G77 block further enabling sharing of experiences, south to south cooperation including successes, challenges and lessons learned.
The discussion will focus on views for accelerating progress towards Agenda 2030 through strengthening of policies and institutions of governments and mobilisation of multi-stakeholder support and partnerships for improving access to health services particularly SRH and ensuring healthier lives for all in the region. It will be a participatory sharing session moderated by a government with a maximum of three governments and two country level CSOs; one youth led organisation and one women’s organisation and experts from the region including from ARROW on the panel as speakers, followed by interactive discussion between all attendees on the topic.
