Action-oriented education for the SDGs

Catalonia for Education Science and Culture Organisation (CATESCO)

Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) is an integral element of SDG4 and a key enabler of all other SDGs. With this dynamic online session we advocate for this educational shift worldwide towards active learning-centred pedagogies such as Project Based Learning (PBL) to equip young people with the skills needed to address the global challenges represented by the SDGs. In a context of pandemic recovery, this learning approach ensures that no student is left behind, fostering inclusion and diversity, a cornerstone for the achievement of SDG4.
