GESTOS – soropositividade, comunicação, gênero

For governments to play a leading role in the 2030Agenda they need to measure results and plan in advance and partnering with all stakeholders. This session will launch two complementary reports developed with innovative methodologies, to support national and local governments in Brazil. It will focus on the SDGs under review (4, 5, 14, 15, 17), taking into account the impacts of COVID-19 pandemic.

The VI Spotlight Report on the 2030 Agenda is currently the only publication that  presents a 360-degree panorama of the level of implementation of all SDG in Brazil. It uses available official data and analyses 169 targets, classifying their progress. Published by GESTOS and the CSO Working Group for 2030 Agenda in Brazil, a network of 60 organizations, it was written by more than 70 experts, from all sectors, and presents around 100 recommendations.

The Cities Sustainable Development Index is a tool to guide action. It defines references and targets based on management indicators, organizing the information to monitor the advances of SDGs based on the analysis of 100 indicators collected from national databases.
