The parliament in Chad is deeply engaged in the national efforts to achieve the SDGs. Parliamentarians established a commission to monitor the 2030 Agenda implementation and conducted a self-assessment of their readiness to implement the SDGs using a tool developed by the International Union of Parliamentarians to strengthen the legislative branch capacities to support the SDGs. Consequently, the parliament was involved in the VNR process and its report drafting.
