A free downloadable application for smart mobile devices called "Qatar Statistics" was launched in line with the start of fieldwork for the General Population, Housing, and Establishments Census project. The information collected by the app contributed to updating the VNR data availability. The application provides all users with a direct link to register and easily, safely, and fpromptly be able to complete the "Qatar Census 2020" data online, without the need of a field researcher's visit to register households and individuals, a challenging exercise in the context of COVID-19. The application also interactively displays available statistical data, allowing users to contact and communicate directly with Qatar's Planning and Statistics Authority for inquiries or data requests.
