Steps taken by the IDB Group to support the 2030 Agenda and SDG implementation
The IDB Group submits the following input on the steps that the institution is taking to support the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), to be considered for the 2020 High Level Political Forum (HLPF) and the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. This document reflects on IDB Group’s strategic direction, in line with the 2030 Agenda, its Charter mission, and the priorities set forth in its recent update to the Institutional Strategy. It also reflects on the theme for the 2020 HLPF and the United Nations (UN) Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), “Accelerated action and transformative pathways: realizing the decade of action and delivery for sustainable development”.
