Each year, 1.25 million people are killed on our roads, and each day, we lose 500 children. 3.7 million people die each year as a result of outdoor air pollution. The side event discuss key issues, solutions, and steps to reduce the toll of road traffic injuries and air pollution, and to promote low carbon transport. We will bring together representatives of governments and experts from the World Health Organization, NGOs, and the Global Initiative for Child Health and Mobility. The event will open with the FIA Foundation and the Permanent Representative of Georgia. The first panel will consist of Mission representatives, moderated by the World Health Organization, and the second panel will consist of other representatives.
