The concept of "Development in Transition" seeks to approach development as a complex, gradual and uninterrupted process that does not end when countries reach a certain level of income, but a continuous process until achievements are sustainable. International cooperation must adapt to this complexity and focus on promoting incentives to foster transformation processes that contribute to overcoming development blockers. Focusing on the experience of Chile and Uruguay, which are categorized as high-income countries on a per capita GDP basis, the side event aims to discuss the concept of Development in Transition
