If You Struggle to See, You Struggle to Learn: Accelerating Progress Towards the SDGs through School Eye Health Programmes

The Friends of Vision (FoV) event, “If You Struggle to See, You Struggle to Learn: Accelerating Progress Towards the SDGs through School Eye Health Programmes will focus on the critical role comprehensive School Eye Programs play in achieving inclusive and equitable education for all children and sustainable economic growth and development.

The event will elevate real-world voices impacted by vision loss as well as include a panel discussion aimed at increasing awareness of the role of vision loss in the 2030 Agenda and garnering multidisciplinary support and cooperation from relevant government ministries (Health and Education) to prioritize the inclusion of school eye health in relevant development policies.
