Active Help Organization (AHO)
Background
In Agenda 2030, the United Nations aims to empower young people by ensuring inclusivity at the decision-making level and promoting peace in all areas. SDG 16.7 stresses the need to ensure decision-making is responsive, inclusive, participatory, and representative.
Youth is a key partner for achieving the SDGs, contributing from the grass-root - policy level. Young people have significantly impacted the achievement of the Agenda 2030, including SDGs 4, 5, 14, 15 & 17, which are the focus of the HLPF 2022.
Against this backdrop, AHO and co-organizers propose an in-person side event to discuss Youth inclusive decision making and the importance of strong global partnerships and cooperation.
