Finding: In 2018, the Office of the Auditor-General assessed the country's preparedness to implement the SDGs, analyzing national needs, resources, and capacities for their implementation, partnership mobilization, and risk management. The findings of the Auditor-General’s work, including recommendations on 2030 Agenda localization, were published as a “2018 Report of Office of the Auditor General on preparedness of SDGs implementation,” and submitted to the Solomon Islands Parliament, as executive branch controller. As a result, Solomon Islands' Office of the Auditor General engaged in the national review process from the outset, comprehensively documenting the process and guaranteeing that the resulting VNR report circulated among stakeholders.
