Objective - In this special event, UNITAR and UNDESA will present a brief introduction of their new initiatives and e-learning courses on leadership in the public sector. It will include a brief description of the initiatives,
learning platforms and leadership courses. Additionally, a new virtual platform and website (www.unleadership-
learn.org) for leadership training will be presented.
Target audience- Government officials, United Nations officials, and representatives of civil society and the private sector attending the HLPF. Attendees will be able to learn about the Global Initiative on Schools of
Public Administration as well as try the UNITAR’s Leadership platform. There will be opportunities to
sign up for free for the new leadership in the public-sector course which will commence on 1 August
2018.
