This interactive discussion will reflect on the findings of the 2020 ESCAP ADB UNDP report Fast-tracking the SDGs: Driving Asia-Pacific transformations. The report identifies strategies to enable accelerated progress and support efforts to respond to the COVID 19 crisis. It highlights countries that made faster progress on transformative entry points for the SDGs, stressing that income is not a silver bullet, and the need for a clear sense of direction, mobilizing societies for change, innovation, and policymaking that manages complexity.
