On late April, Nonviolence International NY has launched the Civil Society Engagement from Home project, a youth-led initiative, with the specific objective of encouraging and facilitating youth involvement with the SDGs and civil society coalitions at the 2020 HLPF. The event will feature presentations from our Change Representatives, individuals from all over the world who have initiated significant projects in response to pressing social issues in their local community; and amplify their voices, actions, and aspirations with the given platform. This will give them the opportunity and the platform to expand their local actions into global initiatives, by combining their horizons with the umbrella objectives of the SDGs.
