The side event will focus on SDG 3 and 13, good-health and climate action respectively. It will bring together myriad of stakeholders to explore different aspects of a preventive response to eventual pandemics motivated by climate change and the various measures, necessary investments, social and physical infrastructure necessary, and types of international cooperation needed to fight climate change and mitigate its impact on global health and create resilience to epidemics and pandemics.
