Finding: Switzerland’s first VNR (2016) highlighted the start of a 2030 Agenda implementation “transition phase” managed by a temporary inter-ministerial work group. It aimed to clarify institutional arrangements, conduct an SDG baseline study, and expand the Swiss system of sustainable development indicators as appropriate. The report announced that the country would share the results in a new presentation in 2018, the year in which Switzerland submitted its second report based on the results of the transition phase.
