UN DESA organizes global capacity-building workshops for peer learning opportunities for those cities and regions that have already conducted a VLR and to those only starting or interested in the journey. UN DESA has also made available the Global guiding elements for the Voluntary Local Reviews, which draws from the Secretary-General’s common voluntary guidelines for the VNRs, providing a checklist of issues that could be reflected in the process.
