Integrated approaches are essential to address today’s complex and interconnected challenges. The UNSDG Mainstreaming Acceleration and Policy Support for the SDGs (MAPS) approach was launched as a UN interagency effort to support national Governments efforts to achieve the SDGs, helping them take stock of progress towards the SDGs and identify areas where acceleration is needed. The SDG Accelerator Toolkit is being updated, and a technical e-course was launched in September 2020 to strengthen the capacities of UN Country Teams and governments to apply integrated analytical tools and multistakeholder collaboration models in UN Cooperation Frameworks and national plans for the SDGs.
