The Local2030 Special event aims to present the first signs of change achieved by the High Impact Initiative (HII) on SDG Localization. The focus is to show efforts that have a multiplier and catalytic effect of promoting transformative actions and solutions at the local level. The ultimate goal is to showcase how the HII is acting as a mechanism to foster multilevel governance structures, bridge various sectors to address multiple territorial scales, help to build coherence across policies and actions, strengthen multistakeholder capacities and enhance their collaboration and leverage resources to finance a pipeline of local-level initiatives and broad avenues for inclusive participation.
