SDGs in Practice: Opening Segment

The SDGs in Practice is a series of capacity-building and knowledge-learning sessions aimed at implementing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Organized annually by UNITAR and UN DESA in collaboration with various UN entities and stakeholders, these sessions provide practical insights, networking opportunities, and innovative solutions for SDG implementation. Catering to a global audience through virtual and select in-person formats, the 2024 sessions will cover topics like the Future of Education & Artificial Intelligence, Climate Change, Biodiversity, Jobs, Social Protection, Data Collection and Analysis for SDG Monitoring, and Partnership Building and Multi-Stakeholder Engagement. The SDGs in Practice will be held from 8 to 17 July 2024, as a special event to the 2024 High-level Political Forum for Sustainable Development.
