The VNR Lab, co-organised by African Union- African Peer Review Mechanism, UN ECA, and UN DESA will examine the role of strategic planning and Foresight in effective implementation of SDGs and Agenda 2063 especially with the adoption of the Second-Ten Year Implementation Plan of Agenda 2063 last year. With the commitment of ten African countries to present VNR this year, this VNR/VLR Lab highlights different strategic planning strategies applied by African Countries to align both Agenda 2030 and Agenda 2063 goals and targets. Further, it shall witness the launch of APRM New Policy Brief on Strategic Planning and Foresight in Africa which offers a diagnostic analysis of strategic planning in 15 African countries.
