Welcome to the United Nations
HLPF 2026 will be informed by the following reports:
- Progress towards the sustainable development goals: Report of the Secretary-General
- Advancing sustainable, inclusive, science- and evidence-based solutions for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its Sustainable Development Goals for leaving no one behind
- Long-term impacts of current trends on the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals: Report of the Secretary-General
The 2026 HLPF will also have before it the reports of the regional forums on sustainable development, compilation of the main messages of the 2026 VNRs, executive summaries of the discussion papers submitted by the major groups and other stakeholders. It will also be informed by other related reports from other intergovernmental processes, including:
- Progress Report on the 10-Year Framework of Programmes on Sustainable Consumption and Production Patterns: Note by the Secretary-General
- Report of the Economic and Social Council forum on financing for development follow-up
- Multi-stakeholder forum on science, technology and innovation for the Sustainable Development Goals: Note by the Secretariat
- Report of the Committee for Development Policy on its twenty-eighth session
